Upon arrival, experience the warm hospitality of Sri Lanka with a welcoming representative at the airport transfer to Dambulla. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, located along the Colombo-Kandy road. Established in 1975, the orphanage cares for abandoned and injured elephants. After breakfast, visit Sigiriya Rock, also known as the Fortress in the Sky, dating back to the 5th century. Today is a leisure day in Bentota. After breakfast explore the Madu River with a boat ride in the Maadu Ganga Santuary, It's known for its rich biodiversity, including over 300 plant species and 248 vertebrate species, classified under the RAMSAR Convention on Wetlands. Then, visit the Marine Turtle Conservation project in Kosgoda, where you can witness endangered marine turtles nesting and hatchlings making their way to the sea.
