Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival, meet your representatives at the airport and transfer directly to Kandy. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a 25-acre coconut property where you can observe baby elephants being bottle-fed and roaming freely. Established in 1975, this orphanage cares for orphaned and injured elephants, with over 20 calves born here to date. Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. In the evening, attend a cultural dance show showcasing vibrant traditional performances. Check-in to your hotel in Kandy and relax. As you enter the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you'll witness baby elephants being bottle-fed and moving around freely in a safe environment. This sanctuary, established in 1975, provides care for orphaned and sometimes injured elephants. Over 20 calves have been born here, and some elephants have even seen their grandchildren. The feeding times are at 9:15 am, 1:15 pm, and 5:00 pm, and the elephants take a river bath at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, offering a unique experience you won't find anywhere else.
